On July 29, 1941, eleven members entered in covenant to form the First Southern Baptist Church of Santa Paula. The church grew and was instrumental in supporting several other churches in the area. In the spring of 1969, a mission was started on the west end of Santa Paula, later forming Westside Baptist Church on October 3, 1971, with 95 charter members. On October 1, 2000, First Southern and Westside Baptist Churches merged to form LifeWay Baptist Church. Our Spanish ministry began on January 4, 2008.
